POSITION OVERVIEW: Plans and directs analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Closely partners with cross-functional team members to deliver exceptional business processes and analytics. Utilize an understanding of enterprise business processes to ensure requests for IT are strategically aligned and are delivered as efficiently as possible.

Information Systems (IT)

  • Conduct business systems needs analysis, formulate and define systems scope, specifications and objectives, conduct testing, implement and maintain systems, and provide recommendations.
  • Assist the IT vision through analyzation of current technologies used within Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM) and determine efficient and effective ways to improve.
  • Support and manage process enhancements requested from business users.
  • Manage multiple IT projects from beginning to completion.

 Analytics

  • Assess information technology systems and make suggestions for how they can better meet business needs.
  • Understand organizational and operational challenges.
  • Identify, monitor, and communicate project and enhancement risk factors, issues, status, and results to the business.

Collaboration and Change Management

  • Collaborate with project management, IT management and management to establish project/request objectives and priorities.
  • Provide second level support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to business system support users.
  • Identify, communicate, and implement business process change to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Translate IT initiatives into actions through understanding the overall business and IT strategic plan.

Qualifications


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  •  

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business analytics, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the position functions of the job.

  •  

Two or more years of SAP or other ERP system or other related experience.

  •  

Demonstrated depth of understanding the team’s challenges and developing solutions.

  •  

Ability to understand and comply with the Mueller Quality System and current regulatory requirements.

  •  

Strong analytical skills to create reports and offer recommendations.

Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read.
