Who We Are:

Master Trade Services, Inc. (MTS) was established in 1981 for the purpose of providing trade support to the property management industry. Today, MTS provides a wide range of repair, disaster restoration, and construction service coverage throughout Minnesota, with a concentration in Central and Southern, MN.


What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented full-time Office Administrator/Accountant to support our office operations and financial recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative and accounting tasks in a fast-paced trades environment.


Job Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

  

Administrative Support

  • Manage all front-office operations, including phone communications, email correspondence, and client/visitor greetings with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain organized digital and physical filing systems to ensure efficient information retrieval.
  • Coordinate appointments, manage calendars, and support scheduling needs across the organization.
  • Provide reliable support for general office operations and contribute to special projects as required.
  • Fully understand the ERP system (Quickbooks & Housecall Pro) to be able to assist staff when needed and make any corrections when errors are found.

Accounting Duties

  • Perform accurate data entry and financial recordkeeping using QuickBooks Online and Housecall Pro.
  • Prepare and issue client invoices, process payments, and manage accounts receivable follow-up.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience with accounting or finance background is preferred. 
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Communication skills to effectively work with clients and colleagues.
  • Positive attitude and open to feedback necessary for continued growth and development.
  • Intellectually curious, self-starter who is not afraid to seek out projects independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities/projects concurrently and prioritize accordingly.
  • Tech savvy – familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, digital workload management, and comfortable learning new software programs.
