About the Role:
Summary: The Field Sales Manager is primarily responsible for contributing to a high performing sales culture in their assigned product and market, by supporting their Sales Manager or Regional Director of Sales in developing and training Product Specialists in the field. The Field Sales Manager works closely with their Sales Manager to ensure Product Specialists follow LH’s sales system. The Field Sales Manager will devote at least 50% of their time to training and mentoring Product Specialists, with the balance of their time acting as a senior Product Specialist. Field Sales Managers must be available Monday to Saturday 8am to 9pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all duties laid out in the Product Specialist Operations Agreement/Job Description.Â
- Observe, evaluate and report back to Sales Manager with information and data from ride-alongs with team members. Implements action plans for the team based on areas of concern. Â
- Provides leadership and coaching to develop the team; encourages the drive and spirit to achieve maximum potential in sales team.Â
- Track, understand and analyze sales metrics, supporting Sales Managers in taking swift and appropriate action to correct problems.
- Issue leads when centralized dispatch is unavailable and Sales Manager has requested support.Â
- Support Sales Managers in providing Product Specialists with ongoing performance feedback. Â
- Maintain current knowledge of product lines, finance options and installation processes and comply with related company processes.
- Ensure adherence to sales process and script, staying updated on company-wide changes.Â
- Provide training to new and current Product Specialists on sales process, product knowledge and finance.Â
- Return phone calls and emails in a timely manner to provide high standard of service to customers and responsiveness to team members.Â
- Maintain professional licenses to meet company, state and municipal guidelines, if applicable.Â
- Maintain professional conduct to present a good image of the company to the public at all times.Â
- Participate in weekly sales BPR meetings and share reports of findings from time in the field.Â
- Maintain the highest proficiency of the LH sales and effectively train other Product Specialists. Â
