Maximize customer satisfaction by transporting Material Handling Equipment while abiding by all OSHA and DOT regulations. Responding to customer demands in a safe, timely and professional manner while making safety the top priority.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: |
- Transport Material Handling equipment
- Loading & Unloading
- Measure & check weights of all loads
- Load and Unload equipment from transport truck
- Secure all loads
- Cover loads when required and wipe down
- Perform Daily transport truck inspections
- Pre and Post trip inspections required
- Complete Driver’s Daily Checklist
- Report any issues found
- Keep Preventative Maintenance Current
- Always maintain a clean transport truck
- Complete all Transport Documents
- Obtain customer signatures
- Note damage and abuse
- Confirm battery serial numbers and propane tanks
- Install and removal of industrial batteries at customer’s location
- Assist in prep on Demo and Rental Units
- Stencil Lift Power assets
- Loading and unloading of external haulers

- Safe Driving Record

- Class “A” CDL with Air Brakes and Hazmat Endorsement
- Valid DOT Physical Card
- Safe Driving Record
- Ability to Sit for long periods of time
- Communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use both a tablet and cell phone
