Position: Experienced Automotive Service Technician

About the Role:
J.C. Lewis Motor Co. is seeking experienced automotive service technicians to join our team. This position is not an entry-level or quick-lube role. We are looking for professionals who have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair across a variety of makes and models.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on customer vehicles.
Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and quality checks.
Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Keep accurate records of all services performed.

Required Skills & Experience:

Extensive knowledge of automotive systems: engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including use of computerized diagnostic tools.
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical bulletins.
Proficient in performing complex repairs and maintenance tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Good communication skills for working with service advisors, team members, and customers.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain a safe work environment.
ASE certification(s) preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to pass background/MVR and hold a valid driver's license
Age 19 years or older
