The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the facility and daily upkeep of public areas, as well as supervision of the Housekeeping Department.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Interview and hire staff for the department, and train new housekeeping staff to perform their duties; post work schedules and cleaning schedules
• Ensure facility is kept clean at all times; make daily rounds of facility to ensure that areas needing attention are cared for by the staff responsible for the area
• Maintain budget for supplies

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Previous housekeeping experience required; experience in a healthcare setting preferred
