- Presale inspection/certification of vehicles
- Test drive vehicles
- Check for engine noise
- Check for transmission issues
- Operate and read a code scanner
Requirements
Requirements for Presale Inspection Mechanic
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Able to pass pre-employment screening
- Able to recognize engine noise, transmission issues, etc.
- Able to operate and read a scanner
- Able to work with a wide range of vehicle types, years, and conditions
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
