About the role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a hands-on, service-driven Housekeeping Supervisor to support the daily operation of our Housekeeping department and help ensure every guest room and public space reflects the standards of an elevated, full-service hotel.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who is comfortable balancing room quality, team support, operational priorities, and guest service throughout the day. The ideal candidate leads from the floor, communicates clearly, holds high standards, and steps in wherever needed to support both the team and the guest experience.

This is a full-time, onsite position at Hotel Bardo Savannah. Open availability is required, including the flexibility to work multiple shifts spanning mornings through evenings based on business needs and a rotating schedule.

What you'll do

  • Supervise daily Housekeeping operations and support the team in delivering consistently clean, well-presented guest rooms and public areas
  • Inspect guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure Hotel Bardo cleanliness, presentation, and quality standards are consistently met
  • Lead from the floor by coaching, training, and supporting Housekeeping team members throughout the shift
  • Help organize daily assignments, priorities, room status, and workflow based on occupancy and operational needs
  • Partner closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to resolve guest and operational needs quickly
  • Respond professionally to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities with urgency, judgment, and genuine hospitality
  • Reinforce accountability while contributing to a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture
  • Maintain strong communication with Housekeeping leadership regarding room readiness, staffing needs, maintenance concerns, and service issues
  • Step into operational needs as required to keep the department moving and ensure the guest experience is never compromised

Qualifications

  • Previous Housekeeping leadership or supervisory experience in a full-service hotel or resort environment
  • Experience working in an upscale, luxury, or similarly high-service hospitality environment strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of hotel room cleanliness, inspection, presentation, and service standards
  • Comfortable interacting directly with guests and handling service recovery when needed
  • Ability to coach, direct, and hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive leadership presence
  • Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and remain composed in a fast-paced hotel environment
  • Open availability, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
