Porter/Janitor

Pay is $17-$18 per hour.

The Marshes of Skidaway Island is seeking a Full time Porter/Janitor to provide extraordinary service to our residents. The position is responsible for major floor care projects and trash disposal, maintaining all equipment and supplies in proper condition. and other specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Previous floor maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy physical effort 95% of the work day. Must be able to stand and walk long distances up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to stoop and work from a kneeling position, perform repetitive bending, reaching and stretching. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. independently.
