Here is what you will be doing:
- Operate or move equipment around the yard and shop.
- Help maintain inventory of supplies and/or shop equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Flexibility and ability to work on various shop, maintenance, and yard tasks.
- Perform job safety analyses (JSA's) and safety meetings.
- Attend communication meetings and safety training as scheduled.
Requirements for a successful Oil Field Laborer:
- High School or GED.
- Read, write, speak and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions.
- Flexibility and ability to work on various shop, maintenance, and yard tasks.
- Environmental awareness.
- Visual Thread Inspection certification a plus.
Here are some of the physical requirements of this role:
- Work in adverse conditions. (heat and cold)
- Handle heavy parts and pieces of equipment.
- Climb on and off the equipment.
- Extended hours if needed; This includes evenings and weekends.
