Forklift Operator

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating sit-down and turret forklifts to move, store, and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate has at least two years of forklift experience, is fluent in Spanish, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down and turret forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the warehouse
• Pick, stage, and replenish inventory according to work orders
• Transport materials to designated storage or production areas
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues
• Maintain accurate inventory and material handling records
• Follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines at all times
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and other warehouse duties as needed

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down and turret forklifts required
• Must be able to speak Spanish
• Valid forklift certification preferred
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Ability to safely handle and transport materials
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
