Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Insurance Sales Manager to lead and mentor a small team of dedicated sales professionals focused on commercial lines business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing, and implementing sales strategies, and fostering a high-performance culture within your team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in insurance sales, strong leadership skills, and a passion for developing talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of insurance sales agents, providing guidance, training, and support to help them achieve their sales goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and expand market share.
  • Assist sales agents in identifying and developing new business leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions with individual sales agents, providing feedback, setting goals, and addressing performance gaps.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and tools.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the company's insurance products and services, effectively communicating their value proposition to clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and underwriting, to ensure seamless customer service and support.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and generate new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
