Apply to join our dynamic and global team that is modernizing the manufacturing industry Job Description DN Solutions is expanding its capabilities in automation, digital manufacturing, and turnkey system integration. We are seeking an Automation & Software Engineer to help develop and deploy advanced manufacturing solutions that integrate CNC machine tools, robotics, and software systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across disciplines and taking ownership of complex, real-world engineering challenges.   Job Responsibilities Develop and implement automation solutions for CNC machining systems, including robotics, pallet systems, and material handling  Program and integrate industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.) in machining environments  Interface with CNC controls (Siemens, Fanuc) for automation integration and process optimization  Develop and support software tools for machine connectivity, data collection, and analytics (OPC-UA, MTConnect, APIs)  Support turnkey projects from concept through implementation, including:  Process development  System integration  Testing and validation  Collaborate with Applications Engineering on customer demos and test cuts  Troubleshoot automation and software systems in both lab and customer environments  Work with global engineering teams to support development and deployment of solutions  Travel expectations 25-40% Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related)  5+ years of experience in manufacturing automation, CNC environments, or industrial software development  Experience with CNC controls (Siemens preferred)  Hands-on experience with industrial robotics  Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (OPC-UA, MTConnect, Ethernet/IP)  Programming experience (Python, C#, PLCs)  Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills  Preferred Experience Integration of automation cells in machining environments  CAD/CAM experience (NX, PowerMill, etc.)  Exposure to digital manufacturing or simulation tools  Experience supporting customer-facing technical projects  Knowledge of probing systems (Renishaw, BLUM)    Company Benefits We offer competitive pay based on experience. 401(k) Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Paid Time-Off including vacation, sick time, and Holidays.
