Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work in a school-based setting, supporting students in developing functional, motor, and sensoryregulation skills that promote success in the classroom.

Position Details

• Setting: School environment (studentfacing role)

• Start Date: MidApril

• Schedule: 3 days per week

• Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week

• Pay: Starting at $35 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide schoolbased OT services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Support students with fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and selfhelp skill development

• Implement IEPaligned interventions and assist with data collection

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers

• Maintain accurate service documentation in compliance with school guidelines

Requirements

• Active COTA license

• School experience preferred, but not required

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
