Amplio is looking for experienced field leaders who thrive in fast paced, team oriented environments and enjoy running work on active construction sites. Our team designs and installs professional audio, video, and lighting systems that help churches create engaging and distraction free environments for worship and communication.


The Construction Site Manager serves as Amplio’s leader on job sites, responsible for coordinating with general contractors and other trades while leading installation crews to successfully complete projects. These leaders play a key role in opening new church campuses, expanding existing facilities, and delivering technology systems that support churches every week.


Prior AVL experience is not required. We are looking for experienced job site leaders who know how to run work in the field, coordinate with the general contractor and other trades, and lead crews to complete projects safely and on schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as Amplio’s on site leader during the installation phase of projects
  • Coordinate daily with general contractors and other trades on active construction sites
  • Lead and manage crews of 3 to 12 installers and technicians
  • Organize daily work plans and ensure the team stays on schedule
  • Oversee installation work including equipment mounting, cable installation, and infrastructure buildout
  • Ensure work meets project drawings and quality standards
  • Identify and resolve job site challenges as they arise
  • Maintain job site safety and enforce safe working practices
  • Communicate project progress with project managers and engineering teams
  • Travel nationwide to lead installation projects


Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years experience in construction site leadership roles such as superintendent, assistant superintendent, foreman, construction manager, or field operations manager
  • Experience coordinating with general contractors and multiple trades on active job sites
  • Proven ability to lead crews and keep projects progressing on schedule
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable working with ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and power tools
  • Willingness to travel extensively for projects. Project travel can last up to 3 weeks at a time and typically consists of 5 to 6 workdays per week with extended workdays during installation phases
  • Must live in the Chicagoland area or be willing to relocate
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, work safely at heights above 30 feet, lift equipment, and safely operate power tools
  • Must hold a current driver’s license with a clean driving record
