We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team on 2nd shift. The Inventory Control Coordinator / Cycle counter is responsible for managing inventory through the SAP Warehouse Management System and helps to maintain levels required on a daily basis to meet customer demands.  We offer a medical, dental, vision PPO health benefits, pet insurance, matching 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).  The salary range for this position is between $21 - $25/hour.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the SAP, Finance, and the Manufacturing Team to ensure that the Warehouse Management system is fully functioning to meet the business requirements.
  • Establish and document SAP Warehouse Management procedures to ensure the process is effective and clearly understood
  • Serve as the point of contact for all inventory process concerns and audits. Maintain and update SAP inventory on a regular basis and ensure accuracy at all times.
  • Prepare monthly reports for Warehouse Management KPI’s including but, not limited to cycle counts, goods movement errors, overall inventory accuracy and summary / highlights of activities related to inventory. Make recommendations and strive to continuously improve the process.
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies and goods movement errors (COGI and Negative Quants) with manufacturing, receiving, warehouse, shipping and inspection personnel. Receive and issue materials / finished goods into computer database as required.
  • Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures and manage inventory for organization
  • Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.

Requirements

 Skills and Attributes

  • Must demonstrate good inter-personal skills. Able to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Inventory cycle counting and reconciliation.
  • Stock accuracy auditing.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to make good business decisions.
  • Able to take the initiative to investigate and problem solve.
  • SAP, Data entry, handle RF scanner devices
  • Forklift 
  • Microsoft Office

Education and Experience

  • High School or GED diploma required. 
  • BS diploma with focus on business /computer curriculum /inventory control preferred. 
  • Minimum of two years of inventory control experience required.

Safety and Personal Protective Equipment

  • Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location.
  • Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
