Concessions Staff at Sport Center & Olympic Park (part-time, $15.00/hour)

ABOUT US: The Schaumburg Park District is an award-winning public agency that provides its 80,000 residents with a wide variety of recreational facilities, programs, events, parks and open spaces. Additionally, the Schaumburg Park District hosts thousands of visitors and guests annually at its activities and major tournaments.

JOB SUMMARY: Concessions staff are responsible for ensuring our food service operations are running smoothy. Tasks include taking orders, operating a cash register, providing customer service, preparing food, grilling, and cleaning.

LOCATIONS: Our concessions staff work at two important Park District locations: The Sport Center Grill and Olympic Park Concession. Staff are trained to work at both locations.

• Schaumburg Sport Center @ 1141 W. Irving Park Road, Schaumburg 60193
• Olympic Park @ 1675 Old Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg 60173

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Prior customer service experience preferred but not required. Ability to obtain Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment is required.

SCHEDULING & PAY: These are year-round part-time positions. Must be able to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holiday(s), based on business need. Staff can expect to work 2-3 shifts per week, about 15 hours per week. Pay is $15.00/hour.
