Student will act as an assistant to Prof Jennifer Matsue with a special focus on the Global & Popular Musics program.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Maintain on-line instrument catalogues

  • Assist with design and maintenance of World Musics and Cultures forms and files

  • Design World Musics and Cultures course posters

  • Design World Musics and Cultures concert and guest artist posters

  • Help with guest artists and speakers

  • Campus errands as needed

  • Some heavy lifting

Qualifications:

  • Graphic design skills

  • Facility with google docs, sheets, and other related software

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently 

  • Members of the Japanese Drumming ensemble encouraged to apply
