Full-time, Seasonal Driver Position available in Schenectady, NY at Northern Nurseries

Looking for Drivers who are interested in working in the horticultural industry at our wholesale distribution center, featuring the largest selection of nursery stock and horticultural supplies in the northeast. Servicing the Landscaper, Nursery Retailer, Grounds Manager, Golf Course, Municipality.

Pay is $25.00 per hour with paid holidays, working 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday with Saturday hours also available) with potential overtime hours from March – November with no overnight travel. A $500 Retention bonus is paid at the end of the season with a layoff. Those leaving in good standing will be rehired the following year with an increase in pay.

Must have a valid CDL A license, current medical card. Must be able to comply with all FMCSA Drug Testing Requirements.

Drivers deliver plants and related products locally. Our drivers must be flexible and be available to leave our site location early in the mornings. Drivers are required to help unload and must be able to lift to 50lbs. We will train our drivers to identify plants and other products.
