As the Business Office/Human Resources Director, you will report to the Executive Director and maintain a close relationship with corporate accounting and Human Resources and the Organizational Development teams.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Acting as the initial point-of-contact for all HR (Human Resources) and accounting related mattersÂ
- Managing the recruitment process in your community, including updates in the ATS, outreach to and screening of candidates, and managing the offer and onboarding processÂ
- Interpreting policies and procedures and communicating them to all employees both proactively and in response to questionsÂ
- Processing A/R and A/P timely Â
- Processing monthly billing statements, answering related question from residents and families in a timely mannerÂ
- Processing employee payroll and archiving and discarding payrolls at the end of each cycleÂ
- Analyzing variances in departmental payroll vs. budgetÂ
- Gathering monthly accruals from department headsÂ
- Producing proposals and presentation packetsÂ
Requirements
- 2-year degree in a Business-related field; 4-year degree from an accredited university in a Business-related field preferredÂ
- Must have excellent organizational skills as well as effective written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Be knowledgeable regarding payroll systems and basic GL and Accounts Payable systemsÂ
- 3 years of business office experience with HR and accountingÂ
- Prior Human Resources experience and/or education preferredÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, and OutlookÂ
