You will lead the kitchen team, ensuring that every dish is crafted with care and attention to detail, while maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook nutritious and delicious meals for residents, adhering to dietary guidelines and preferences. Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure food quality, presentation, and service meet our high standards of excellence. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and resident feedback. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and sanitation protocols. Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless dining experiences for residents. Assist with supervision of Dining Services staff and Dining Room Service   QualificationsQualifications: Proven experience working in a professional kitchen, with a minimum of 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role. Strong culinary skills and a passion for preparing high-quality food. Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutrition, particularly for older adults. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
