ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for someone who works well in technical positions and is looking for a long-term career in the bike industry. Bike maintenance experience is not required for this role but it certainly helps. If you are a fast learner, like working with your hands and are always looking for ways to improve processes, we would be stoked to talk about this role with you.
WHAT DOES YOUR DAY JOB LOOK LIKE?
Load wheel hubs with spokes based on orders neededÂ
Organize completed hubs in specified bins to ready for lacing
Tape wheel rims to quality control standards, prepare the wheels for the bicycle assembly line
Perform quality checks on built wheels using production standards
Maintain a tidy and organized work station and assist with machine cleaning and sweeping
Collaborate with your production team on assembly floor coverage and cross training
Assist other departments as necessaryÂ
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
A physical will be required to be passed before an offer is made
The ability to work in a variety of areas and assist other departments as necessary
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or factory work environment
Punctual with a great attendance record
Ability to accurately record your time and review your timecard daily for any corrections
Ability to stand, lift, twist, and reach 100% of the time while working
High attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working in repetitive roles
HOURLY RANGE: This compensation package will be dependent on experience, qualifications, industry experience and the interview with a potential range of up to $20/hr.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.
