We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Mechanic to join our team at the Village. As a Facilities Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing  preventative and maintenance on the building(s) and equipment essential to the operation of the building systems, and other associated components within the Village. Your work will directly impact the quality of care we provide to our residents and the overall success of our organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license required 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working in a long term care setting

Responsibilities:

  • Make necessary repairs, both routine and emergency, to building operating equipment 
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
