Join Regional West Medical Center as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), where you will support patient-centered care by partnering with leaders to strengthen teams, drive accountability, and uphold the professional standards and consistent work environment that enable caregivers to deliver safe, high-quality care.

As a trusted adviser to clinical and non-clinical leaders, you will provide expertise in employee relations, leader coaching, culture development, engagement support, and healthcare HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Serve as the primary HR resource for escalated concerns, workplace behavior issues, and policy interpretation.
  • Conduct fair and timely investigations into harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other policy violations.
  • Provide consistent guidance to leaders on corrective actions, employment decisions, and maintaining a professional, respectful work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and employment laws including FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and HFWA.
  • Support leaders in applying policies consistently and aligning decisions with organizational expectations.

HR Operations

  • Guide leaders through corrective actions, terminations, workplace drug and alcohol testing, and leave processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensure timely follow-up, and support consistent policy application.
  • Assist with accreditation readiness, regulatory reviews, and internal audits.
  • Partner with leaders to uphold standards that support safety, professionalism, and a dependable care environment.

Talent Acquisition Partnership

  • Collaborate with recruiters and leaders on hiring for clinical and non-clinical positions.
  • Support interview processes, hiring decisions, and adherence to licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with nursing schools and allied health programs to support internships and student placements.
  • Reinforce hiring standards that support quality care and strong department culture.

Culture, Engagement, and Organizational Development

  • Support leaders in strengthening team communication, professionalism, trust, and accountability.
  • Guide leaders through action planning based on employee feedback, team needs, and organizational priorities, ensuring meaningful follow-through.
  • Assist with engagement activities, recognition efforts, culture initiatives, and leadership development programs that reinforce a patient-centered, respectful workplace.
  • Provide training and coaching to leaders on expectations, conflict navigation, communication, documentation, and consistent application of policies.
  • Reinforce leadership behaviors that support a positive employee experience and dependable patient care environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. An equivalent combination of education and at least three years of direct employee relations experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • SPHR, PHR, CHHR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of three years in Human Resources or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and healthcare accreditation or regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to coach leaders, support accountability, and maintain a consistent, professional work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex healthcare environment
