Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

American Associated Pharmacies (AAP), together with its distribution subsidiary API Warehouse, supports independent pharmacy owners with programs, services, and purchasing solutions designed to help them thrive in a competitive market.


AAP is seeking a motivated Account Specialist to join our Inside Sales team. The Account Specialist supports customer growth and retention by building relationships with existing and prospective customers, conducting inbound and outbound sales calls, onboarding new customers, and identifying products and services that meet customer needs. This role also maintains customer activity in the CRM and works closely with AAP/API teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Make inbound and outbound sales calls.
  • Onboard new customers and help them maximize the value of their API relationship.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Track customer interactions and activity in the CRM.
  • Partner with other AAP/API teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working toward goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
  • Associate's degree or high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Inside sales, outbound sales, or call center experience preferred.


Compensation:

  • This is an hourly position with significant commission potential, offering the opportunity to increase your earnings while making a meaningful impact for independent pharmacies.
