Respiratory Therapist CRT - Highlands Respiratory Therapy - FT - 3rd Shift

Overview

Responsible for the administration of pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures necessary to implement treatment, disease prevention, pulmonary rehabilitative, or diagnostic regime prescribed by a physician. The transcription and implementation of the written or verbal orders of a physician pertaining to the practice of respiratory care.

Responsibilities

Successfully performs Arterial Blood Gas Punctures Consistently and accurately reports the results in a timely manner. Consistently and competently adheres to Respiratory Protocols. Appropriately performs patient assessment and correlates care with the patient’s needs.  Accurately follows policies in patient care including patient identification.

Qualifications

Associate's in Respiratory Therapy.  Alabama State Respiratory Therapist.  Respiratory Therapy NRBC Certification.
