STORE Capital Advisors, LLC is seeking a solution- orientated, professional with high attention to detail and a passion for commercial real estate to join our team.


How you will contribute to STORE’s mission:


The Closing Specialist is a key member of STORE Capital’s Portfolio Management team, responsible for supporting lease administration and coordinating real estate transactions across the portfolio. This role focuses on assisting with lease amendments, assignments, new lease documentation, and related customer requests, while also coordinating the timely closing of select transactions, including asset dispositions.

Working closely with Portfolio Management, Legal, Acquisitions, and external partners, the Specialist ensures that lease-related matters and transactions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of STORE’s lease structures, supporting customer needs, and ensuring seamless execution from documentation through closing.


What will make you successful (Qualifications)


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience in commercial real estate, legal support, lease administration, or transaction coordination preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in a commercial real estate, law firm, title company, or REIT environment, with exposure to lease administration, amendments, assignments, or transaction coordination
  • Experience supporting commercial real estate leases, assignments, amendments, or closings strongly preferred
  • Paralegal or title company experience is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and document management systems
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and manage complex legal and lease documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Solution-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills


What most days will include (Primary Duties)

  

  • Assist with the preparation, coordination, and execution of lease amendments, assignments, and new lease documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Review lease terms and coordinate updates related to tenant requests, including changes in occupancy, guarantors, or lease structures
  • Partner with Portfolio Management and Legal to support servicing requests and ensure proper documentation and execution of lease-related changes
  • Coordinate and track customer-facing lease activities, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
  • Support the lease amendment closing process from approval through funding, working with Customers, Underwriting, Acquisitions, and Outside Legal Counsel
  • Coordinate and review third-party diligence, including title, survey, zoning, environmental, and property condition reports, ensuring alignment with company policies
  • Work with Outside Legal Counsel and customers to review and finalize lease and closing documents
  • Manage transaction timelines and coordinate closings with escrow, legal counsel, customers, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding items, resolving diligence exceptions and minimizing delays
  • Maintain organized electronic files and documentation related to leases and transactions 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Investment Committee, and other internal teams to support transaction execution
