OEM delivers proactive supplier management solutions for the major Primes and Tier-1’s across the aerospace, defense, and shipbuilding sectors. By integrating our supplier specialists directly within supply chain networks, we deliver a level of oversight and engagement that surpasses conventional methods.

Headquartered in Arizona, OEM is experiencing rapid growth and is currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The Controller will manage all aspects of the accounting and financial reporting activities.

This is a full-time position based in our Scottsdale, AZ corporate office. Pre-employment background and drug screening are required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage all operations in the accounting department, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, cost accounting, revenue recognition
Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions
Production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles
Produces the annual budget and forecasts, reports variance to budget to management
Maintain integrity and accuracy of monthly journal entries and general ledger close process
Provides financial analysis with emphasis on customer quotes and gross margins
Effectively collaborate with people at all levels of the organization
Works with external CPA firm and auditors as necessary
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
Drives annual benefits renewal pricing and analysis
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:

Strong knowledge of GAAP
Strong analytical skills in accounting and financial reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
6+ years of comprehensive accounting and finance experience
Financial reporting experience required
Aerospace and Defense experience a plus
