Salary: $56,000–$66,000 DOE 

Role Overview 

Jaque Bethke Design is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support the execution and coordination of design projects across all phases.

This role is execution and operations focused, ensuring that sourcing, pricing, documentation, and procurement processes move efficiently while senior leadership focuses on design direction and client experience. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive self-starter who thrives on structure, follow-through, and working within a fast-paced, design-driven environment.

Core Responsibilities Design Execution & Project Support 

● Support design projects from concept through installation

● Assist with sourcing furniture, finishes, lighting, fabrics, and materials

● Prepare and organize materials for client presentations and internal reviews ● Support drawings, layouts, and visualizations using REVIT and BIM workflow 

Procurement & Vendor Coordination 

● Request and track quotes from vendors and showrooms

● Maintain accurate pricing, specifications, and documentation

● Place orders and track lead times, deliveries, and logistics

● Communicate with vendors, fabricators, and internal teams to ensure alignment Project

Operations & Organization

● Maintain organized project fi les, sample libraries, and documentation

● Track deliverables, timelines, and approvals

● Ensure all project information is current, accurate, and accessible

● Assist with installations and on-site coordination as needed Administrative & Workflow Support

● Support day-to-day design operations and internal processes

● Assist with task tracking and project coordination

● Proactively identify gaps, delays, or missing information

● Help keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule

What This Role Is Not - To ensure clarity, this role does not own: 

● Design direction or final creative decisions

● Client strategy or high-level project management

● Firm leadership responsibilities These functions are handled by senior leadership and project leads.

Ideal Candidate 

● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven

● Strong communication and coordination skills

● Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

● Proactive and able to take initiative without constant direction

● Experience with REVIT, BIM, and AI tools (required)
● Background or strong interest in interior or architectural design

● Must be available for occasional travel based on project needs
