Job Description
At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our Colleagues, guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations. As an Engineering Painter your attentiveness, efficiency and commitment will ensure your hotel remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Ensure the overall maintenance of the of the facility
- Primary job is to paint and perform drywall repairs on property
- Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
- Maintain all actions in a Daily Activity Maintenance logs
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policiesÂ
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Maintenance as a painter is required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications not required but helpful
- Must have basic knowledge of drywall repair, painting of all types and ability to match texture
- Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently
