Advanced G.P.R. Corporation is one of Arizona's leading specialty contractors providing Concrete Coring & Cutting, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Utility Locating, Fire stopping, Leak Detection, and other specialized construction services for commercial, industrial, healthcare, semiconductor, aviation, and data center projects throughout Arizona.

We are seeking a motivated Construction Laborer – Concrete Coring Assistant / Spotter to support experienced Concrete Coring & Cutting Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is looking for long-term career growth in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Concrete Coring & Cutting Operators on commercial construction projects.
  • Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Set up and break down work areas and drilling equipment.
  • Spot operators and safely retrieve concrete cores during drilling operations.
  • Assist with equipment setup, vacuum bases, water management, and slurry cleanup.
  • Perform basic equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
  • Perform other construction-related duties as assigned


Requirements


  • Previous construction labor experience preferred.
  • Concrete coring, concrete cutting, demolition, or general construction experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift safely and carry 75+ pounds.
  • Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, at heights, and in varying weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check, where permitted by applicable law.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Experience in any of the following is a plus:

    • Concrete Coring
    • Concrete Cutting
    • Commercial Construction
    • Demolition
    • Structural Concrete
    • GPR Concrete Scanning
    • Utility Locating
    • Power Tools
    • Construction Equipment
    • Forklift Operation
    • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
