Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Strong procedural skills and expertise in performing a wide range of interventional procedures. Advanced procedures range from bleeding management to atherectomy, kyphoplasty and more

  • State-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest technology and advanced imaging capabilities

  • Majority of work to be in IR (minimum 80%)

  • No Mammography, Nuclear Medicine or MSK responsibility

  • Shift assignment, call responsibility, and vacation allotment are all shared equally

  • Diversified revenue stream from both inpatient and outpatient sources, ensuring a steady and rewarding practice

  • Partnership track offered

SMIL is a well-respected radiology practice with 40 years of experience and a focus on collaboration and innovation. Our partnership with the Honor Health System includes 6 hospitals, including Level 1 trauma centers and a cancer center. Our unique SMIL Research Institute is an entity through which we perform phase I through IV clinical research in all subspecialty areas. Interested physicians would have the opportunity to gain research literacy as well as participate in sponsored and academic clinical trials.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Candidates will be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (recent graduates falling under the new ABR guidelines)

  • This position is open to both experienced interventional radiologists and fellows completing their training

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $500,000-$600,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
