What You Will Do
- Complete routine maintenance and repair work in occupied apartment homes and common areas
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and general maintenance issues
- Complete work orders promptly while documenting completed repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain safe and operational
- Assist with apartment turns, including painting, repairs, cleaning, and preparing homes for new residents
- Maintain pools, amenities, common areas, and community curb appeal
- Communicate professionally with residents regarding maintenance requests and repair updates
- Coordinate with property management to prioritize maintenance activities
- Work alongside maintenance team members, vendors, and contractors on specialized repairs and projects
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the community
What You Will Bring
The ideal candidate will possess:
- HVAC Certification (Required)
- One or more years of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred
- Residence within the Scottsdale area or approximately a 20-minute commute
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance repairs
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Basic computer skills for documenting work orders and maintenance activities
- Physical ability to lift, carry, climb stairs, and perform manual labor
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
