The Portfolio Operations Administrator is a key member of STORE Capital’s Portfolio Operations team, responsible for supporting day-to-day tenant and property-level operations across a portfolio of over 3,500 properties and 600+ customers. This role is highly execution-focused and centers on coordinating tenant requests, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with lease requirements and property obligations.
Working closely with tenants, municipalities, outside counsel, and internal teams, this position plays a critical role in maintaining portfolio health by ensuring operational matters are handled accurately, timely, and in alignment with established processes. This is a detail-oriented, administrative role ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple workstreams with precision.
What will make you successful (Qualifications)

- 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate, property management, legal support, loan servicing, or similar operational roleÂ
- Legal assistant or real estate administrative experience is a plusÂ
- Strong proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and AdobeÂ
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracyÂ
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in tenant-facing interactionsÂ
- Ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for efficiencyÂ
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityÂ
- Team-oriented with a solution-focused mindsetÂ
What most days will include (Primary Duties)
- Coordinate with tenants regarding property-related matters, including maintenance, repairs, and improvement requestsÂ
- Track and follow up on liens, violations, and compliance-related items with tenants and municipalitiesÂ
- Process and manage sublease requests, working with tenants, Portfolio Management, and outside counselÂ
- Monitor and track property-level requirements, including energy benchmarking, filings, and regulatory deadlinesÂ
- Manage incoming document requests, correspondence, and operational communications with external partnersÂ
- Process wire requests and support transactional coordination as neededÂ
- Maintain and update property and lease data within internal systemsÂ
- Coordinate third-party requests, including rights of entry and access agreementsÂ
- Assist with property filings and compliance documentationÂ
- Maintain organized electronic files and ensure accurate recordkeepingÂ
- Provide timely notifications and updates to tenants regarding operational mattersÂ
- Respond to and manage tenant service requests, ensuring resolution and follow-throughÂ
- Support team priorities and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environmentÂ
