SUMMARY The Private Banker is responsible for acquiring, developing, and retaining high-net-worth individuals and business owners by delivering competitive banking and wealth management solutions. This position serves as the primary relationship manager for affluent clients, coordinating a comprehensive approach to banking, lending, and deposit services.  The Private Banker develops new business opportunities through proactive relationship building, referral networks, community involvement, and collaboration with internal partners. This position is responsible for deepening existing client relationships, attracting new clients, coordinating comprehensive financial solutions, and ensuring exceptional client experience through personalized service and expertise. Serves as the primary banking contact and trusted advisor for clients by providing personalized financial guidance and coordinating comprehensive banking solutions. Actively pursues prospective clients and builds relationships with the goal of becoming their primary financial institution. Gains a thorough understanding of clients' financial goals, banking needs, and long-term objectives. Ensures the financial needs of current clients are met by identifying and fulfilling these needs directly and/or by referring to the appropriate representative. Develops and manages a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. Builds trusted advisor relationships through personalized service. Collaborates with Financial Advisors, Commercial Lenders, and other partners to provide competitive service for Bank clients.   Proactively solicits new relationships through referrals, networking, and community involvement. Ensures exceptional client service and timely resolution of requests. Utilizes Salesforce or other approved CRM tools to maintain accurate client, prospect, and referral information Maintains knowledge of market trends and wealth management strategies. Participates in business development, sales meetings, community events, and relationship-building activities to increase the Bank's visibility and market presence. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. QualificationsEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 5 years or of banking, private banking, wealth management, commercial banking, or related financial services experience required. Experience serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients preferred. Demonstrated success in deposit acquisition, relationship expansion, and new business development. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in finance-related field (Finance, Accounting, or Economics) preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. OTHER REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS, ABILITIES, CHARACTERISTICS): Must be personable and possess excellent communication skills. This includes the ability to listen attentively and intuitively, with high comprehension and effectively convey a response that promotes a positive impression. Strong business development and people skills to market the Bank in all situations, whether during or after business hours. This includes the ability to ask probing questions to uncover the true client needs. Excellent time management and organizational skills along with the ability to work independently, with little supervision. Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and maintain strict confidentiality. Self-motivated, accountable, goal-oriented, results-driven, Professionalism, discretion, and committed to providing exceptional client service.
