At Vitalant, our mission is to save and improve lives through blood donation, research, and innovation. We’re seeking a Senior Consultant, Organizational Development to design and deliver impactful leadership and employee development programs that empower our teams to excel. In this hands-on role, you’ll apply your expertise in adult learning theory and organizational development to drive meaningful results. Collaborating closely with HR partners and operational leaders, you’ll play a key role in building a strong, mission-driven culture where every team member can thrive and contribute to our life-saving work.
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
This hybrid role is based at our National Headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ, with a schedule of three in-office days per week and two remote work-from-home days.

As a Sr. Consultant, Organizational Development, you'll get to:
- Design, manage, and deliver leadership development programs, collaborating with HR and operational leaders to ensure effectiveness.
- Blend e-learning and in-person strategies to create engaging, impactful learning experiences tailored to diverse learning styles.
- Conduct needs analyses to identify skill gaps, recommend program improvements, and incorporate best practices in adult learning.
- Develop and track key metrics to measure program effectiveness and support cultural adoption across the organization.
- Consult with leaders to address business challenges, aligning solutions with organizational goals and strategies.
- Provide expert one-on-one, team, and leadership coaching to enhance decision-making, optimize performance, and drive results.
- Foster a coaching culture by teaching coaching skills and integrating coaching approaches into leadership development initiatives.

Requirements:
Knowledge/ Education
- Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- Master's Degree, preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of instructional design methodology, required.
Licenses/ Certifications
2 related certifications, required. May include:
Presenter/Facilitator/Coaching professional third-party certification (e.g., ATD CPLP, Achieve Global, Langevin, DDI, Hogan, Korn Ferry, ICF, etc.)
ExperienceÂ
- 8 years of professional corporate training experience, required. To include:
- Leadership/Supervisory training and coaching
- Group coaching
- Multi-site environment
- Applying instructional design methodology
- Providing HR/OD data science, dashboard reporting and analytics

- Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
