We are hiring a Systems Network Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ to support secure Satellite Ground Systems operations within classified DoD environments. This role requires expertise in Windows and Linux system administration, Cisco networking, cybersecurity compliance, Nessus remediation, PowerShell and Perl scripting, McAfee security tools, and TS/SCI Poly-cleared network engineering supporting mission-critical satellite and ground infrastructure systems.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, patch, and update Windows and Linux operating systems, repositories, and system configurations.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute PowerShell and Perl automation scripts supporting systems administration and network operations.
  • Maintain and support secure network infrastructure environments, including:
    • Windows Server DNS
    • Account management services
    • Cisco firewalls and switches
    • Synology NAS platforms
  • Perform remediation activities associated with Government Nessus vulnerability scans and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and update McAfee security services, endpoint protections, and security configurations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to:
    • Network infrastructure
    • Systems administration
    • Configuration management
    • Operational procedures
  • Support systems administration and network engineering activities within classified satellite ground system environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure system reliability, operational readiness, and network security.
  • Support secure infrastructure operations within mission-critical DoD and satellite communications environments.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required at time of hire.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of related experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience.
  • Experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with patch management, repositories, and OS configuration management.
  • Experience with Cisco firewalls, switches, and secure network infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting Nessus vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity compliance activities.
  • Experience developing automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Perl.
  • Experience in maintaining secure network environments and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting classified DoD, satellite communications, or ground systems environments.
