Senior Business Analyst - Scottsdale, AZ

As a Senior Analyst - Drug File Administration you will be responsible for reviewing and validating drug data received from external vendors and used in support of prescription claims processing. Various data is received at various intervals (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly) from multiple vendors. The Senior Analyst - Drug File Administration is essential to ensuring thorough analysis of the data is performed on a daily basis for purposes of validating its accuracy. As issues are identified, the individual in this position is responsible for investigating further and leading efforts toward resolution. Issue resolution often times requires working collaboratively with internal business partners or directly with the applicable data vendor. Additional responsibilities include managing certain proprietary drug data processes and serving as drug data subject matter expert in support of drug data related projects and client/regulatory audits. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Excel experience; specifically using VLOOKUP ups and pivot tables. Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of PBM or related healthcare industry experience is preferred. Demonstrable experience working with large, disparate data sets and performing detailed analyses. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel macros and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) coding language. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Access. Education: Associates degree required or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
