Job Title: Sr. Systems Engineer

Clearance: Active TS/SCI Required
Our client, a leading federal defense contractor, is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to support a new Restricted Ground Systems program in Scottsdale, AZ. This role will support the design, integration, testing, and deployment of mission-critical Ground Systems for government customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform systems requirements analysis, decomposition, and interface definition
- Support system integration, verification, validation, and technical planning activities
- Coordinate external interfaces and ICDs
- Support secure communications and multi-level security / cross-domain environments
- Participate in system modeling, simulation, and technical evaluations
- Identify and resolve complex system design and integration issues
- Work closely with engineering teams, program leadership, and external customers
- Support Agile development and systems engineering activities across the program lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience, OR Master's degree with 6+ years of experience
- Strong systems engineering and systems integration background
- Experience with Ground Systems, communications systems, or modem technologies
- Experience coordinating interfaces and ICDs
- Knowledge of multi-level security / cross-domain environments
- Agile experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- US Citizenship required due to government contract requirements
