This full-time position requires scheduling testing and procedures at the Regional Hospital of Scranton and Moses Taylor Campus.
The role involves communication with patients, physician offices, and departments, as well as pre-registering patients for upcoming tests and procedures.
Candidates must be high school graduates or equivalent and possess knowledge of medical terminology.
A minimum of one year of experience in the medical field is required, along with keyboard proficiency and preferred experience in patient scheduling.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.

Primary purpose of the position:

Scheduling of testing and other procedures within the Regional Hospital of Scranton and Moses Taylor Campus along with Advanced Imaging Specialists; communicating with patients, physicians offices and departments; Pre Register Patients scheduled for upcoming test and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent.
Knowledge of medical terminology, required.
Keyboard proficiency.
Previous experience with patient scheduling process and use of personal computer, preferred.
Minimum one (1) year experience in medical field.
