Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic leader to manage the Admissions Department. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Campus President. As a member of the school’s leadership team, the Director of Admissions is responsible for managing the department using sound business principles and ensuring compliance with all governmental, accreditation, and company policies and procedures. This position may require some evening and Saturday hours.
The Director of Admissions will be responsible for the overall administration of interviewing, enrolling, starting, and retaining new students for the school. This includes communicating with other departments to convey the needs of students while participating as a team player with the campus’ executive team and within the college environment; upholding and ensuring representatives uphold the core values of the school and the highest standards of ethics and truthfulness in providing information to prospective students regarding educational programs, facilities, educational costs, financial aid and completion/graduation/placement and earning data; and documenting representatives’ reviews through interviews and phone observations and conducting annual reviews with representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field with at least 3 years of admissions and/or sales management experience. Direct educational admissions leadership experience required.
- Demonstration of the highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to develop, motivate, and lead staff
- Capability to prioritize, accept responsibility, and work within deadlines
- Ability to lead and work in an observation/coaching training style environment
- Creativity and the ability to work independently
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse groups of employees and customers
- Strong computer software skills, including Microsoft Office
- Must have past record of integrity that would ensure compliance with accrediting standards and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
