Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Parts Inside Sales Associate, you’ll drive parts sales growth by supporting assigned accounts, prospecting new customers, and delivering exceptional service through phone and counter interactions. You will:
➤ Solicit parts business from assigned accounts and prospect new customers through phone and personal contactÂ
➤ Receive incoming parts calls and assist customers at the front parts counterÂ
➤ Communicate parts orders to Inventory Control and confirm stock vs. emergency status based on customer needsÂ
➤ Confirm acceptable delivery dates for non-stock items before orderingÂ
➤ Obtain Parts Manager approval for special pricing requestsÂ
➤ Coordinate delivery and shipping instructions with the Warehouse CoordinatorÂ
➤ Follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction and proper fulfillmentÂ
➤ Coordinate sales efforts with Outside Sales Associates and travel as needed to provide backup supportÂ
➤ Update and maintain accurate customer recordsÂ
➤ Perform quarterly cycle counts of assigned inventory areasÂ
➤ Attend required training seminars and meetingsÂ
➤ Act as a public relations liaison for the dealershipÂ
➤ Maintain a professional appearance and work collaboratively in a team environmentÂ
➤ Adhere to all health and safety policies to support Hunter’s culture of a safe work environment
WHAT YOU BRING
◆ Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Basic computer knowledge required.
â—† Certificates & Licenses:Â
  ASE Certifications preferredÂ
  Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferredÂ
  Valid Driver’s License required; must meet company insurability standards
â—† Physical Requirements: Regular walking and frequent standing; occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
