The Transporter assists staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients, including surgical patients, under their supervision.

Candidates must be high school graduates or have equivalent education and complete a 4-6 week orientation program.
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred, and the position is full-time with a competitive salary.

The Transporter performs various procedures and tasks assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients, including the surgical patient, under the direction and supervision of a staff nurse at all times. The Transporter transports patients to various areas throughout the hospital including discharge.

FULL TIME

High school graduate or equivalency.

Must complete the 4-6-week orientation program

AHA, ARC BLS required.

Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
