Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician (MTN), Operations is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of company’s property in accordance with all company/local/state/Federal safety laws and regulations. The MTN is involved in all aspects of day-to-day operations of the property including the physical grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, deferred and emergency. This position is also responsible for assisting the FMG with their day to day responsibilities in maintaining a safe and operational environment at all company locations.

Job Responsibilities

  • The MTN must be able to perform a variety of general repairs, installations and maintenance on building equipment including; carpentry, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electricity, appliances, HVAC, minor IT, minor petroleum dispensing equipment and general maintenance.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces, indoors and outdoors in all climates and environments with fumes, dust and poor ventilation while adhering to company safety requirements and programs in a safe manner.
  • Maintains property appearance and ensures repairs are noted and completed on timely basis.
  • Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner following a “safety first” principle.
  • As necessary, owns or contributes to other functions such as safety or environmental initiatives.
  • Coordinates regular inventory of all maintenance equipment, tools, supplies and company assets.
  • Follows all emergency response and handling within company guidelines to minimize liabilities.
  • Ensures efficient and effective use of maintenance resources.
  • Able to physically perform unassisted lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, kneeling, stretching and be able to work on step ladders or extension ladders for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ensures all work has been completed in a safe, prompt and professional manner. • Communicating with FMG of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or may occur.
  • Preparing maintenance reports and other job-related documentation.
  • Maintains a professional courteous relation with all customers, vendors, contractors and fellow employees.
  • Ensures compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical and consistent manner.
  • Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
  • Completing additional duties as assigned by the FMG.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites in the greater Harrisburg area
