Position Summary

The Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of River Bend Health & Wellness by providing administrative, scheduling, communication, and client support services. This position serves as a central point of coordination between clients, providers, and departments to ensure efficient office workflow and positive client experience. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating appointments, supporting organizational initiatives, and assisting with transportation needs when assigned.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client appointments, intakes, follow-up visits, and provider schedules.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls while providing professional and courteous customer service.
  • Greet clients and visitors and maintain a welcoming office environment.
  • Conduct client outreach regarding appointments, services, and program participation.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update client records and documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Create and maintain reports, forms, spreadsheets, and other administrative records.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff, leadership, and other departments.
  • Assist with pharmacy communications, scheduling coordination, and operational needs.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and maintain office supply inventory.
  • Support meetings, training, community outreach events, and organizational activities.
  • Transport clients to approved appointments, services, or community resources as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and applicable regulations.


Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Preferred experience in healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, medical office administration, customer service, or related administrative environments.


Required Certifications/Training

Current First Aid and CPR certification; 

Narcan administration training; 



Employment Requirements

At least 18 years of age; Valid driver license with acceptable driving record; Pass a background check; Health physical screen and negative TB test; Drug and Alcohol screening.


Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and operate office equipment for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.


Friday-Monday 4:00pm-8:00pm
