Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Manasquan, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and goods to designated locations
• Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
• Use navigation tools and apps to locate delivery addresses
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and address any concerns
• Collect payments and signatures when required
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
• Assist with inventory management and stock organization as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using navigation tools and basic smartphone applications
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Physical stamina and ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating change
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be preferred
• Familiarity with the Manasquan area and surrounding regions is a plus
