The City of Seabrook is looking for experienced, dependable paramedics who are ready to step in, take action, and deliver high-quality care when it counts.
This role is about more than responding to calls. It's about making sound decisions in critical moments, supporting your team, and serving the community with professionalism and skill.
What You'll Do
- Respond to emergency medical calls and provide advanced life support in the field
- Assess patients and deliver care based on established protocols and standing orders
- Transport patients safely to appropriate medical facilities
- Operate and maintain ambulances and medical equipment
- Complete patient care reports accurately and on time
- Maintain readiness by restocking supplies and checking equipment
- Work alongside fire, law enforcement, and other responders during emergency situations
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Texas Paramedic Certification or Licensure
- At least 2 years of EMS experience preferred
- BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- ACLS and PALS (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
- BTLS/ITLS preferred (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and the ability to perform under pressure
Work Environment
This is a physically and mentally demanding role. You'll work in a variety of environments and conditions, including emergency scenes that may involve safety risks, exposure to weather, and physically strenuous activity.
You should be prepared for a fast-paced setting that requires adaptability and quick decision-making.
