Position Summary

RBCI is seeking a Civil Engineer Equipment Manager to provide the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) with overseeing the management, maintenance, and operational readiness of civil engineering equipment and associated personnel. This work is onsite at the Williamsburg, VA office. 5%-10% travel may be required.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • in-depth knowledge of supply functions, operational procedures, program requirements, and material support systems
  • developing and implementing equipment maintenance strategies, leading the installation, calibration, and sustainment of complex systems, and monitoring performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat is essential
  • skilled in analyzing team effectiveness, cost reports, equipment records, engineering documentation, and schedules, while ensuring strict adherence to applicable policies and procedures
  • strong understanding of civil engineering principles and regulatory requirements for hazardous waste management and disposal is also required.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing CEE assets and teams.
  • Knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements and work methods.
  • Knowledge of programs utilized in providing material support.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft® programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat®.
  • Knowledge and experience in CEE maintenance to include development and implementation of equipment maintenance strategies and schedules, leading the installation, calibration, maintenance and sustainment of complex equipment, and monitoring equipment performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Have experience in reviewing and analyzing a team's effectiveness, cost reports, equipment records, engineering reports, and schedules, and ensure strict adherence to policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering concepts, principles, and practices. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for hazardous waste management and disposal.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance.
