A Day in the Life: Facilities Technician

Job Requirements: Is This You?

Patience and good communication skills required.
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history are required.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Ability to remain standing / walking a minimum of 90% of the scheduled workday.
Ability to lift 60 pounds and greater.
Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
Understanding of general mechanical skills such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and the operation of hand tools and power tools, preferred.
Ability to work in outside weather conditions to ensure outside maintenance is complete.
Reliable transportation in inclement weather.
Ability and willingness to work extended hours and off hours, as needed.
Knowledgeable in safety regulations.
Desire to work as part of a Team.
