Position Overview:
The Development & Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in supporting CHOOSE 180ās fundraising, community engagement, and revenue-generating efforts. This position works closely with the Director of Development and Community Engagement Manager to ensure strong execution, follow-through, and coordination across donor engagement, events, foundation outreach, and merchandise initiatives.
This role is responsible for turning strategy into consistent, high-quality execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting both internal systems and external-facing efforts. This position requires some evening and weekend work and adjustments to the work week schedule will be made.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Event Coordination & Revenue Support
ā Support the planning and execution of donor, community, and revenue-generating events
ā Coordinate event logistics including scheduling, materials, setup, and on-site support
ā Track registrations, attendance, and follow-up needs
ā Support revenue tracking and reporting related to events and initiatives
ā Assist in ensuring events are executed with a high level of quality and consistency
Merchandise & Revenue Operations
ā Support management of CHOOSE 180 merchandise including inventory, ordering, and organization
ā Coordinate with vendors and support purchasing processes
ā Assist in planning and execution of merchandise sales across events and community opportunities
ā Track merchandise performance and contribute to ongoing revenue optimization efforts
Foundation, Donor & CRM Support
ā Maintain and update donor and foundation data within CRM systems
ā Support tracking of funding pipelines, deadlines, and communications
ā Assist with donor and partner outreach, scheduling, and follow-up coordination
ā Pull lists, reports, and insights to support fundraising and engagement strategies
ā Help ensure consistent and timely stewardship and communication with donors
Team & Organizational Support
ā Support the overall goals and priorities of the Development Team and organization
ā Assist with project coordination, administrative tasks, and internal systems as needed
ā Represent CHOOSE 180 at events and community engagements
ā Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
ā Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team success
Desired qualifications for this position:
ā Commitment to the vision and goals of CHOOSE 180
ā 1ā3 years of experience in development, fundraising, event coordination, operations, or community engagement
ā Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
ā Proactive and solution-oriented with ability to anticipate needs and follow through independently
ā Experience with CRM systems or donor databases (Givebutter, Little Green Light, Salesforce, etc.)
ā Strong communication and interpersonal skills
ā Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
ā Comfort supporting both internal systems and external-facing work
ā Experience with event coordination, logistics, or project management preferred
ā Experience managing inventory, merchandise, or vendors is a plus
ā Culturally responsive in working with diverse communities across an economic spectrum
Compensation and Benefits:
CHOOSE 180 is committed to providing employees with a living wage and competitive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $33.65 - $35.10 per hour.
